Today, we exclusively concentrate on manufacturing PET films. Our buildings, administration and installation engineering are state-of-the-art which need not avoid any comparison with the industry manufacturing PET rigid films throughout the world. The enterprise is led by an excellent team that is composed of members of all fields like production, planning, administration, quality, energy, hygiene, work protection, training courses, etc. – numerously awarded by certifications (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 [based on ISO 22000], BRCGS Class A, SA 8000, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 14001, IFS Logistics, SAM, AEO), which guarantee a permanent audit mode on account of their integration.
Good Manufacturing Practice ( GMP) is a prerequisite of the certifications according to FSSC 22000 as well as BRCGS and is the basis of our production.

Another essential component of our corporate policy is to guarantee a constant product safety to our customers by offering them permanent traceability. Based on SAP, we exercise the exchange of information with our customers in our own IT division starting from the VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) up to the invoicing by means of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).

SICHT-PACK HAGNER Translation:
New production plant in the USA / Future Films out of PET / Market development with KoSa

After having established its strong position in Europe in the market for films and film packages, sicht-pack Hagner GmbH (D-72280 Dornstetten / Hallwangen; www.sicht-pack-hagner.de) now expands in the USA, too. Beginning of February, Hagner is going to launch a plant with initially one extrusion line for A-PET and PET-G in Spartanburg, South Carolina. According to managing director Heinrich Hagner, the investment sum amounts to a total of 7.5 m USD.

The plant at first serves for supplying the company-owned Canadian branch in Montreal where packages were produced out of PVC films supplied by external manufacturers to date. The production is now to be readjusted to PET from Spartanburg. The new factory was erected on the local premises of the world market leader of PET manufacturing KoSa (Germany: D-60528 Frankfurt; www.kosa.com). Hereby, a loose strategic partnership is also expressed. KoSa wants to leverage the utilization of PET packaging films in the USA where the PVC still dominates. The new affiliated Hagner company Future Film 2000 is intended to take part in the brake-through into the new market. Expansions of the plant are possible offhand and planned.
